It is with an extremely heavy heart that we announce the passing away of Drakes Huddersfield Cricket League president Donald Earnshaw, who died peacefully at home this afternoon.
Donald was first and foremost a fine gentleman, a great friend to all committee members and someone who didn't just devote an incredible amount of his time to the league, but to local cricket in general. We shall miss him greatly.
The league wish to pass on their sincere condolences to all at his club; Almondbury, but most of all to his family and friends.
