The league’s official podcast; Castle Hill Cricket Chat, is on day six of their chats with each Premiership skipper on the eve of the season. Eddie Walmsley (Moorlands) is today’s guest.
Eddie has led Moorlands to glory in the Sykes Cup for the last two seasons, as well as a 2021 T20 triumph. Aside from an uncomfortable at times league campaign last year, they pushed champions Hoylandswaine most of the way in 2021.
Moorlands have had a busy winter. Club legends have moved on to pastures new and with a good contact base along with a bit of persuading to a family member, he has his new-look team at his disposal ready and raring to go. We'll also discuss their opening day opponents Thongsbridge, a side who'll equally have designs on silverware this season.
