Just a quickie in this episode as we hooked in League Administration Office Mark Binns to provide an update on how the approach towards overseas cricketers will be next season.
As the Huddersfield Cricket League evolves into becoming an ECB Premier League, of course certain caveats and changes will follow with regards to overseas cricketers.
Yes, being an ECB League Club with Clubmark status means we will see a return to top class test-level professional cricketers. But is it the end for clubs wanting to bring in one, two or even three extra cricketers on a UK passport? Listen on as Mark provides clarification on this subject, which hopefully will help clubs plan for 2024.
Mark also provided an update to how the application to the YCB and ECB is going so it’s worth a listen.
