Covid-19 Player Infection: Matches Postponed

30 Jul 2020

Due to the positive test for Covid-19 of a Barkisland player, who took part in the 1st team fixture v Thongsbridge on Saturday 25th July we can confirm the following fixture postponements:

Armitage Bridge 1st XI v Barkisland 1st XI
Thongsbridge 1st XI v Delph & Dobcross 1st XI
Barkisland 2nd XI v Kirkheaton 1st XI

These postponed games may be rearranged on any Sunday up to and including Sunday 13th September by mutual agreement of the clubs, and with the sanction of the Match Secretary - Phil Senior. After this date the fixtures will be deemed to have been abandoned.

Please note that Rule L9.1 will apply for clubs with only a 2nd XI game taking place either this Saturday and for clubs playing a rearranged game on a Sunday.

Clubs should note that in circumstances where they discovered any infections of Covid-19 within their playing members, the League should be informed immediately.

The league extend their best wishes and hope for a full recovery for the infected Barkisland player.
