A wealth of events supporting James Noble’s fundraiser are coming up, all planned in memory of his son Harry who lost his brave battle a year ago. The former Scholes skipper is attempting to reach a £50,000 goal, to be shared equally between The Neonatal Unit at Barnsley Hospital and The Children’s Hospital Charity in Sheffield.
His campaign has just tipped over the £18,000 mark but there are several big fundraisers in place for the coming weeks which should hopefully get him close to or pass his target. The popular player, who won the Byrom Shield, Black Sheep Trophy and the Sykes Cup whilst he was skipper at Chapelgate, has a charity auction with lots of Sporting and interesting memorabilia which is open for bidding at the moment. More lots are being added over the forthcoming weeks so you can view the auction lots and bookmark the link here: Click to the Auction
Below are a few dates for your diary, which outline the fundraisers James has in place over the next month:
Sunday 22nd August - Masters Rugby Match at Underbank RLC (2pm ko)
Sunday 29th August - Scholes 2000/1 vs Scholes 2009/10 (approx 1.30pm start)
