The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation CRICKET COLLECTIVE AWARDS recently took place at Headingley Cricket Ground, an annual celebration of the outstanding individuals, clubs, and organisations who power recreational cricket across the country.
HPCL are delighted to celebrate Steph Bown of Almondbury Wesleyan Cricket Club, the winner of the Metro Bank Champion of Girls’ Cricket Award.
Steph has been a true inspiration over the past three years, putting her heart and energy into developing women’s and girls’ cricket at Almondbury Wesleyan CC. She has played a key role in creating fun, welcoming and accessible opportunities for girls to get involved in the game.
Always willing to support others, Steph also helps guide new clubs looking to introduce girls’ cricket, sharing her knowledge and experience to ensure sessions are friendly, inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
