David Boulton Sporting Team of the Year: Cumberworth United 1XI
Cumberworth United 1XI have been honoured with the David Boulton Sporting Team of the Year Award, recognising their fair play and exemplary conduct on the field. Led by their captain Jordan Greaves, Cumberworth finished the season with no disciplinary issues and close to the top of the fair play league table.
This accolade is based on detailed analysis of umpires’ reports and input from league committee members — a true reflection of the team’s outstanding sportsmanship throughout the season. Congratulations to all players!
Tom Walker Trophy for Groundsman of the Year: Mark Roberts (Armitage Bridge)
Congratulations to Mark Roberts of Armitage Bridge, winner of the Tom Walker Trophy.
Mark has significantly improved the playing surface and outfields at Armitage Bridge whilst also working on other grounds across the Huddersfield League. His dedication and craftsmanship have been instrumental in helping the club’s three men’s teams achieve promotion this year. His work has also supported the Club in hosting several big League games in 2025 including the T20 final at short notice

Tim Sugden Administration Award: Hall Bower Cricket Club
Hall Bower Cricket Club has been honoured with the Tim Sugden Administration Award, recognising outstanding excellence in club administration. This award celebrates the club’s exceptional organisation, strong communication with the league, and active participation in meetings and off-field activities. Hall Bower has demonstrated exemplary standards — with no fines, all trophies returned on time, prompt and professional correspondence with the league, and consistent attendance at AGMs and council meetings, always contributing when votes are called.
A thoroughly deserved accolade for Ian Hampshaw and everyone at Hall Bower Cricket Club, whose professionalism and commitment continue to set the standard.
