Specific Arrangements For Sykes Cup Final

The Sykes Cup Final takes place this season on Sunday 13th August at Armitage Bridge Cricket Club. This is the first time this final has been hosted on this long-serving Huddersfield Cricket League member’s ground.

If you are intending to travel ether as a player or official of either club, or indeed to spectate, we should make you aware of the arrangements 

Parking

Players and officials
Park at the very bottom of the field near the nets. 

Spectators
Park on the bottom field to the right. Overflow parking is available in the field of One17 Design at the junction of Armitage Road and Deanbrook Road. 

Disabled
Parking is available in the club car park behind the clubhouse itself. Disabled parking only in this area. 

Note: ABCC reps will be on hand to direct and support all visitors on the day. 

Delays possible: Please be aware that planned roadworks may be taking place around Armitage Road and therefore please give yourself extra time to arrive.

Bars & Food

‘Sons of the North’ food truck will be available on the day providing a range of food. Payment can be made via cash or card. 

The main bar is open from 11.30am inside the clubhouse. Cash or card is welcome. 

Cans Bar 1: situated on the patio outside the club house. Payment can be made via cash or card. 

Can Bar 2: situated on the bottom field under the gazebo and is cash only. 

A mobile can bar will be taken around the field at different points during the day/game. This will also be cash only. 

Tuck Shop

There will be a tuck shop situated on the patio outside the clubhouse that will sell pop, crisps, sweets etc. Payment can be made via cash or card. 

Toilets

We have 3 unisex portaloo cubicles situated at the side of the clubhouse as well as male & female toilets inside.  The clubhouse facilities are usuable by the disabled unless it is a very wide wheelchair.

Announcements and Music

The league will be supplying the PA and will be providing announcements and interval music during the match. Following the conclusion of the match and the presentation, live music from local singer Mason Whittle will take place at the clubhouse.
