The Huddersfield Cricket League has announced the postponement of the keenly anticipated T20 Finals Day, which was scheduled for Sunday 8th September, due to adverse weather conditions overnight and throughout the morning.
Both finals – the T20 Trophy between Hoylandswaine and Skelmanthorpe, and the T20 Shield featuring Armitage Bridge against Thongsbridge – will now take place on the reserve date, Sunday 15th September at the same times of 12pm and 4pm.
The league extends its gratitude to Armitage Bridge Cricket Club and groundsman Mark Roberts for their tireless efforts in attempting to prepare the pitch despite the challenging conditions.
