Due to continued wet weather and unplayable grounds, the League Executive regrets to announce the postponement of all League fixtures originally scheduled for Saturday, April 27th.
Additionally, the Sykes Cup and Paddock Shield matches scheduled for Sunday, April 28th, will also be postponed. This decision comes after recent visits by League Executive members to several clubs. With grounds still requiring significant work, an early call was deemed necessary.
The Sykes Cup and Paddock Shield matches will now be played on the reserve date of Sunday, May 5th.
The League Executive will meet in May to determine the status (cancellation or postponement) of both the April 20th and April 27th league fixtures.
We will keep clubs updated on any further developments and the final decision regarding these postponed matches.
