In light of recent changes and developments within the Home Office with regards to visas regarding overseas players we issue the following statement:
A letter has been sent to all club secretaries and representatives outlining the position of the league regarding the restrictions on players entering the UK using the Standard Visitor visa, the Youth Mobility Visa or as a Non-Visa National. Please be aware that the ECB and indeed the DHCL is not registered or qualified to give advice on immigration. Information on aspects of immigration policy and law can be found on the Home Office website, and clubs requiring advice on specific issues should either view this website and/or contact the Home Office direct.
