The Drakes Huddersfield Cricket League are celebrating the 125th anniversary of its formation with a key event. An anniversary lunch will be taking place at the Cedar Court Hotel on Sunday 2nd April 2017. Two members from each Huddersfield League club have been invited to attend as guests of the league, and if any extra tickets are needed they may be purchased for £25 per person..
The chairman of the Yorkshire Cricket Board, Philip Ratcliffe will propose a toast to the league and a prolific local comedian, Lea Roberts - no stranger to the league and its member clubs - will provide his typically light-hearted entertainment.
