Due to increased demand, after an absence of six years we are pleased to return to the Cedar Court Hotel for our Awards Evening and Prize Presentation.
The event will take place on Friday 20th November 2026 with a 7.00pm for 7.30pm prompt start.
Along with the presentation of awards, the evening will also include a supper of homemade steak and ale pie, chunky chips & mushy peas (or a vegetarian option of Potato, leek & cheddar cheese pie), followed by sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce & vanilla ice cream with coffee and mints and coffee. Following supper there will be entertainment from a rising star on the UK comedy circuit, Bilal Rashid.
Bilal is a sharp-witted comedian who electrifies stages with killer one-liners and masterful crowd interaction. A Beat the Gong winner and Beat the Frog World Series heat finalist, he stormed the Edinburgh Fringe with a sold-out debut show that left audiences in stitches. Known for his edgy, razor-sharp comedy and dynamic performance style, Bilal brings an explosive energy that transforms any event into an unforgettable night of laughter.
Please note that Individual Award winners and General Award winners are not normally invited to the evening as guests of the League, and should they wish to attend must do so as a member of their club.
We look forward to seeing you there!
