A succession of courses and meetings have been scheduled in the run up to the 2018 season.
Venue: Copley CC, Copley Lane, Halifax, HX3 0UG
Date: Tue 6 March through to Tue 3 April (Five weeks)
Time: 7pm
Cost: £30 (whole course)
This is a basic official ECB course which is designed to give you an overview on the basic laws of the game, how to apply them and introduce you to the principles of match management. The five-week course runs from Tue 6th of March through until Tue 3rd April A certificate of attendance will be issued to all who attend *.

* Please note: The certificate of attendance is NOT an official level 1 certificate.
There are also a series of meetings scheduled for all Umpires Association members and DHCL club captains (1XI and 2XI) to clarify and discuss the new ECB and league rule changes that will be in play for the 2018 season. If a club captain cannot attend, it is recommended that a vice captain is sent in their place. Vice captains can freely attend also if they wish.
